Title: Luggage help
Post by: Rh4000 on Tuesday, 30 July 2019, 01:06 AM
Hey all, so I know it's come up multiple times on here and Facebook forums. I've currently a set of soft Oxford panniers on the bike but their a pain in the tits, I want a set of givi V35 hard cases and them alone.

As the common problem that arises I can't find racks to mount them as their all discontinued.

Ideally I would love the sw motech quick release evo side cases but what other options do I have. What racks fit modification or direct bolt on etc. I only want to use the Givi side cases.

Please please please any help?  Thanks :notworthy:

I should say the bike is a k2 Gsx1400 and twin cans.

A little effort and time, cca 15€ of material and you're done!  I also wanted 1/4 turn fasteners but couldn't find them in local stores and could not wait shipping. Instead, 8mm bolts do their job, it takes only minute or two to take racks on or off.

Keep looking through the  forum. Pretty sure someone used VFR800 racks with very little modification.

Cheers for the link, reckon I'll go with the Vfr800 ones, seem as close to voktvon as you will get. Has anybody have or ever seen the sw motech quick lock evo ones, their the job, had them on my busa, so handy :smitten: but as with nearly everything, discontinued for the Gsx :whatever:
