Title: Brake master cylinder query
Post by: MarkN on Tuesday, 23 July 2019, 08:38 PM
It would seem that being knocked off the bike in France has come home to bite me. My 14 failed it's MOT today as there was a crack in the bracket which holds the master cylinder to the bars (between the two bolts below the mirror). Does anyone in the UK know if it's possible to buy this D shaped bracket rather than fork out for the complete cylinder assembly? It incorporates the housing for the right hand mirror.
I think it must have been caused when we were knocked off as this is the side we went down on  :cry2:

The bracket you need is quiet common across the Suzuki range .
You should find one to replace the broken one .
EBay is your friend if it looks the same it will be 😎

Cheers Andre. Just ordered one from Two Wheel Centre, my local Suzuki dealer - £18.95 - which I thought was a decent price  :boogie:
All I could find on ebay were repair kits. Should get through the MOT and back on the road now  :onya:
