I've heard a few of you gentlemen talking about a HP Filter bypass mod.
I've done a quick search and not found a topic for it.
Would one of you be so kind please to post a link or give me a description of what is entailed.
Thank You

And another one https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/threads/fuel-filter-mod.175027/ (https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/threads/fuel-filter-mod.175027/)
After reading thru all the links i have to say the on from the busa forum was easiest to understand.
I can have a go at this.
Thanks again
Hi Gentlemen.
Due to the help i've had from both this forum and the info from the busa forum i've now completed this mod.
It's pretty straightforward except for the actual drilling of the hole and much care must be taken doing this. You have to get the drill at exactly the righty angle and drill very slowly. The pics on the busa forum were very helpful in this regard.
A bit of history.
When i bought this bike it refused to rev past 5k
A trip to the dyno revealed it was running out of fuel and the guy at the dyno (John Warrington)rigged up a remote fuel supply and then the bike revved cleanly.
I fitted a new fuel pump and back washed the hi pressure filter. I got a lot of brown sludge out of the filter.
The bike then ran better and revved to 7k but then felt starved again. I also noted that the pump was noisy and sounded like it was working hard.
When i drilled into the hi pressure filter some more brown sludge came out so i flushed it again. It looked like rust.
I've now got a remote hi and lo pressure filter fitted.
I just used generic filters of the right size and new fuel line.
I've not ridden it yet but the fuel pump is much quieter so something has changed....
Thanks again Gentlemen for all your help.
I'll post a pic of the hole i drilled so you can see
