Hi All,
There's nothing wrong with mine, its working fine.. (Bikes done 39,000 miles)
However, after reading several times on here that the Reg/Rectifier failure is age related rather than mileage.
My bikes done 39,000 miles but its an early 05 (K4 actually) model..
So is there any merit in replacing my Reg / Rectifier BEFORE it fails? Call it preventative maintenance...
Your thoughts please.

I replaced mine even though it is still ok (identical measurements to the new). I have done so with a number of parts. When I find a good deal and have money in my wallet I rejuvenate my bike. Old parts which are still ok will be used for fault finding and as immediate replacements if something breaks. Just my way :stir:
My reg/rec is original at 132k on a K2...
I'm on my third stator though as twice the wiring where it leaves the coil has burnt, gone brittle & snapped.
Thanks Hooligans for your input.
