Sorry to bother you chaps - can someone tell me what the tread depth is on a new tyre please thinking 6mm

Estimated tyre life 20,000 to 22,000kms.

I'd need 25mm tread depth to even get close to that.

The side thread must be 2.5mm deep when new.
