Hi Guys, new member about 6 months ago. Didn't want to post any pics as my 1400 (In my eyes)was Horrible. Got it almost how I want it now,  I've already had help from a few of you guys on here and by reading some posts I've managed to sort a few problems I had with it. A couple of mates own 14s and I just had to have one. I gotta say I was not disappointed, fantastic bikes.

Here's a before, (Blue n White) and after (Black) Hope you like, cheers Stevie.

Thanks guys. It was an embarrassment going out on it. If you look closely at it even the rocker cover and engine casing covers are white, along with, the clocks, headlamp, side stand, hugger, disc centres, grab rail, mirrors,  footpegs and hangers, half the seat and side panels. Don't know what the guy was thinking, did he have something against it I wonder lol. I got a local sprayer to do the tinware as I know he's very good at his job and well known for it. Got Derek Brewster to brace the arm, local new startup firm to media blast and powdercoat a few bits and Coba valley cycles to window my casings. All really helpful and decent guys at good prices. I'll be fitting gsxr1000 USD front end with Brembo monoblock calipers and thug yokes come the winter, got everything except the fork extensions but I'm in touch with a Firm already to make me some come Winter. Can't tell you how much I love this bike, just awesome. cheers Stevie.

That was worthy of a :redcard: for sure. The bloke who did that needed a good :box: and maybe even a stint in 'taste' :sinbin:

But you've rescued it really well !  GOOD JOB !!!!!

Hi,

WELCOME !!

What a transformation; I can see why you would not show us the bike before you had restored it. The previous owner must have had a complete taste bypass

Looking forward to seing the pictures of the bike when you have completely finished the restoration.

Cheers

Been to Stornaway a few times as well, when it's nice it's a brilliant place.  When it's bad it's absolutely bloody awfull
