Today was a great temperature and not a cloud in the sky.
I went on a run from Brissie down to Beechmont, Mt Tamborine, northern NSW, and parts in between - 400kms or so.
Was riding with a couple of blokes with Guzzis - a Griso and a cafe'd V11.
Neil's V11 looks great, is loaded with custom parts made done by the owner, just a fabulous thing.
Sounds awesome and goes well too! :onya:
BUT...
I had a ride on it for a while (thanks Neil!) and by God it was uncomfortable.
Legs too cramped, bars too low, neck craned upwards to see forward - and I already had a sore shoulder and elbow.
I've never been happier to get back on the 1400 !
Griso is much nicer i.e. (comfy ride) the other one looks a little cramped.
It's always great to get back on your own bike :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :notworthy:
Are you on holidays Vlad ???????? :stir:
It was nice today, I almost used my bike for work but couldn't be arsed with putting the luggage on to carry my lunch and a change of clothes etc and I'm into really into my current podcasts and shop on the way home.
I have about 240 hours leave banked at work if you fancy something similar again once we are past the EOFY rush. I like weekday rides, less cops and day trippers.
Vlad, once took a test ride from Guzzi dealer. Brevia i think its name, 1200cc. Agree. was never so happy to get back on 14. .
Grog I like the Breva 1200 - nearly bought one but got the 1400 instead. No regrets there.

A 'little' cramped :rofl2: yeah that'd be an understatement :)
The Griso in the photo had bar risers too so would have been super comfy.
@Tony Nitrous yeah mate I'd be up for that, but no leave banked up at all. Still I should be able to manage a day sometime.
Indeed there were ZERO cops. It was great.
