I see in our local news you Queenslanders have SNOW!! :confused1: ??? Bloody hell, thought I read Tony said he hadn't seen a frost since leaving Blighty, well, now you've got a bit on snow to remind you of a UK summer. :whistling:
Keep warm over there guys, I know you'll not be used to that cold. Mug of hot soup or couple stiff whiskeys keeps the cold at bay . . .
Yeah Col, they are very soft up there, which you will see in the State of Origin tonight when NSW give them a Flogging
:stir: :whistling:
Go the (insert winners here)!!!!!!
I'm at the game working tonight but I'm a Victorian so really don't care who wins. :whistling:
Thanks Col in Brisbane Tuesday it got to 17 deg with major wind chill. My truck changed lanes twice when wind blew.
I'm a woose and had a thermal shirt on :whatever:
The snow they referred to was at Stanthorpe, it's quite elevated but conditions were just right.

It was -3 here this morning, bloody freezing, well, first decent once of the winter. parts of Christchurch only got to 2 degrees today! "Eskimos" need not comment. :whistling: :happy1:
No sooks here, about to win origin. I rode at 3 degrees yesterday, brrr, then ride home was maybe 10, super wind, trees all over road. Arse end of bike slipped twice on tree rubish. I got home, was glad to. One of my worst ever rides. Not sure if Michelins or Pirellis can grip better on tree rubbish. Thats one opinion for the forum.

Lowest I've seen this week is 8 or 9.
Qld is a BIG place, no frosts or snow where I live and work.
Stanthorpe is 2 and half hours drive away and away from the coast.
I thought about wearing a jumper to work yesterday but never bothered.
It's 3.42am here and showing 11 degrees C at work.
Yeah Qld a big place. Stanthorpe cold because of its altitude. We did get to 3 degrees here, coldest for years. I actually enjoyed that ride.

Sorry but I'm a pussy when it's cold AND it was bloody cold the other day. I did manage a Monday ride around Somerset but it was getting cold then. I don't have a duck-ass fairing on the front to stop the wind factor. Joints on the bod' are stiffening up with all age.
