So was my Birthday today and I'd asked the wife for cash to add to my secret 'mod pot'.
I've been adding to it whenever the opportunity presents itself, cash back at the weekly Tesco shop is always a favourite 😉
I had been planning to do:
Nitrate coat fork stanchions (Black)
Bates twin lights
Full tail tidy
But,,, I now have enough in the pot to go for Yoshi Cyclone (Black) if so desired. I have a pc 3 lying around as well so would need a bit of dyno time to do the job properly.
I only spent £400 on the Cobra slip on 18 months ago but the Cyclone full system is calling my name!!!
I'm not a pony chaser, astetics are way more important to me but the Cyclone has both looks and performance 🤔
What's a man to do!!!
Had a funny card off the boy
Think exhaust studs and then see what else you can do for the same money .
You've been on about your black forks for a long time now .
Nice dilemma to have :onya:
Wise words Seth, I could wait another year and go for the whole front end thing!! How did yours go?
Getting there I've came across a problem with the disc spacing but I'm Getting there bit by bit . :onya:
With such a good system already on your bike Red, I would also be putting it into the forks or elsewhere.
So long as it's black, yeah? :onya: Jim Beam Black?
Having slept on the idea I think the consensus here is right and I'd regret spaffing best part of a grand on the Cyclone, back to plan A I think :computer_type:

Mine's in my biker trousers that I never use :8:
I've created a spread sheet to record all the bits I've done and how much they cost... I've recently password protected that file just in case! :salute:
It's sad Red. You are a year older now & are already showing your older mature/sensible side  :onya:

I'm sat here watching the D Day comemorations thinking it's not my proudest moment  But Mrs Red was not around in those days!
So when Mrs Red takes those old bike pants you never wear to the Op Shop you will say .......????
Sent a shiver down my spine that Fruit!!!

Mine is in the under seat storage on the 14 - £435 at last count :) and another few quid in my biker jeans ! Lol
Mines in one of our bank accounts.
Wife knows exactly what I have and what I spend it on.
Same as
@Tony Nitrous, wife knows what I spend on the bike, and what I want to spend on the bike.
And me, we have no secrets as far as money and bikes and bike gear is concerned.
Wife's away in Melbourne, she just called me to see if all's OK at home.
Told her I just went shopping for some more new tools, some new gloves,
a phone mount for the bike etc etc. She just said "Good".

Neither do we - but I do usually get a no rather than a yes.... :(
Still she's heaps better than the first wife who had a strict no motorbikes policy.... I wonder why she's my Ex-wife? ...
My wife pays more money in tax a year than I earn in a year, so she pays more of the mortgage, bills and holidays etc. She is happy that I work hard, do overtime and save for my bikes, holidays and cars etc and don't see her as a meal ticket, or this relationship wouldn't work. She intends to carry on working after I retire in the next year.

Where's the sense of fun if you don't hide it!
It's like owning a bike you don't have a key for :imrgreen:
