Bought some I Pone interior helmet cleaner. Mine had general build up of use. Just a foam spray but inside helmet cleaned up perfectly, even smells nice. https://www.ipone.fr/en/product/helmetin/
If I don't wash my helmet in the sink with baby shampoo I use Motrex helmet cleaner, works really well and smells nice.
Smells nice!!!!!!! You'll be giving us bikers a bad name.
I clean mine in the shower normally :)

I pull mine to bits and put in the washing machine on he delicate cycle.

looked on my pack of Daz but no instructions re helmets? :)
Outside isn't important, is it?
Most helmet manufacturers say helmets are only supposed to last approximately 5 years. I do try to keep mine clean. The majority of newer helmets do allow removal of the internal liners for cleaning etc.
What I am noticing is exterior pieces deteriorating, :whatever: which is normal when you wear it more than normal and it's exposed to our harsh UV conditions.
