Title: Hot Day at Mt Mee
Post by: VladTepes on Tuesday, 14 February 2017, 10:07 AM
Well on Sunday it was forecast to be 39 degrees Celsius.  (Turned out to be right, too)

I got up at 6 and headed out early to beat the heat - it was nice in Dayboro but as I rode up the mountain (well, it's a hill really) it actually got hotter.

Stopped in at the lookout.

Got chatting with other bikers, as you do. When the coffee cart turned up I settled in....

And when this guy turned up we were instant friends.... hopefully he'll join up here.

Spent a good few hours up there... quite a number of bikes turned up, including this lovely retro Paul Smart tribute...

Headed home by 10 as the oven was on 'fan forced' by then....
