Just thought Id say hi :hat:
Im a recent owner of a new (to me) black 1400. Yay me!
My last bike (for about 15years) was an 82 GSX1100E - now 37 years young and having done 250K kms it is due for the complete TLC package.
Since there's no time for that right now I needed something new to keep me moving. Since the 1400 is a retro take on the bike its replacing, you'd think it was an obvious choice - but it did take me a while to come around to it. i think it was the fact I couldn't find a bad word anywhere for them that convinced me.
Anyway Ive always be self sufficient with regards maintenance & servicing so I was glad to find the forum - so Ill say a thanks in advance now to everyone :worshippy:
Below is a pic of my two girls: the darling at the back is now sleeping:

Welcome Geoff ,
Two great bikes bought an EZ back in 82 regret selling it, put an EZ headlight on my 14 just to remind me, i did not think the painted inset panel came until 83 but dementia is probably setting in, mine was the plain bronze/gold colour
Welcome.
You have come to the best place for all things GSX 1400!! :boogie: :on :welcome:ya:
