Title: Yamaha Niken
Post by: Monarchjock on Monday, 06 May 2019, 02:30 AM
While watching the Tour de Yorkshire I saw a Yamaha Niken  3 wheeler as one of the support motorcycles. Weird looking. I've seen reviews where the reporters have much more confidence  than a 2 wheeled  bike in marginal situations. What does the team think?

Regardless of all the positive one can say about the Niken, it is a 3-wheeler and not a motorcycle.

Yamaha have done a deal so that the Niken is used as a follower/press/camera mount bikes for all UCI cycling events so you'll see them during all major cycling events for the next couple of years to try and show folks they are just like normal bikes.
Not for me
I'm still trying to see past the gsx1400 as I've tried many but nothing suits me and what I do on my bike like the gsx1400

I saw Yamaha Niken in Helsinki, MP-19 show on february, and asked Yamaha dealer "why is it made for?"
He couldn't answer to me  :whatever:

In the same bucket as CanAm Spyder i reckon. Mates been pestering me for years to take his Spyder for a ride. Not on my list of musts.
