Post by: Stepdoug on Saturday, 04 May 2019, 05:11 AM
Ok. Who's got the black widow exhausts on the bikes.
My last two 1400si had the Beowulf Tri oval warrior's on . So after something different this time. Been looking at these. Anyone got them or similar
Cheers

For similar try Delkevic 20cm stubby.

They come polished stainless or carbon can.  Very good quality, all required parts supplied with the can & good packaging so nothing gets damaged on transit.
I've got a 30cm carbon & the sound is awesome, but funny thing is, when cruising it's no louder than a trioval, crack her open & there's plenty of attitude coming out, good for passing cages etc.   All this from a 30, can only imagine how loud a 20 would be.  I know some folk here run 20's.

Given you have a K7, you would need to change the centre stand to the earlier K2-4 one.

That aside, don't think Black Widow are any better or worse than any others, can't remember anyone on here who has fitted them though.

I have a 300mm megacycle can and I totally agree with your comments , quiet enough to be reasonable around town but north of 5000rpm and it definitely howls you would have to like it very loud to put much less of a resonator on

Have the twins set up on mine Dave. And got two center stands with the bike so already set up for that pain to put the stand on but heyho done it before. And kept the skin on all my Knuckles.

I've recently fitted twin 400mm oval black stainless cans on my K2, they came very well packaged and next day delivery.

I've got the 200mm version on mine.
I bought a 4-1 collector as well to convert as my bike is a k4.
The 200mm can is fatter than the 300mm one.
When i first fitted it with the centre stand tab horizontal the can fouled on my rear shocks.
So,i twisted the link pipe to get the can to fit and then the centre stand tab fouled on the swinging arm. The bike does have a jack up kit on so this may or may not be a factor.
In the end i ground the centre stand tab off,i obviously don't have a centre stand fitted.
I'd say the fit is ok.
The twin delkevics i've just taken off fitted better tho.......
