Hi,
I have been a long time lurker on the old Org site and New Owners forum.
I finally got me a late registered 57 plate K7 with less than 10k on the clock last Saturday after coveting one of these fine beasts for years and having managed to persuade the good lady to let me get back on a bike after many years. Oh how good it is to be finally get back on two wheels and on a 1400 too!!
Cheers :onya: :hat: :smitten:
Welcome :hat:

Welcome to the forum.
We are glad you have stepped up from being a lurker and become a contributor.
Congrats on the new bike Mate.
:welcome1:
To all things 1402
Gidday mate & welcome in. Just remember if you've been away from riding for a while, just give yourself time to get acquainted again. The 14 is a good beast, mostly docile, but, 'provoked' enough, she can bite for sure. :onya:
:cruisin:
Welcome :onya:
Welcome Sir Prancelot!

Welcome to the forum Sir Prancelot. :onya: Are you a northern numpty or a southern softie?
@mjgt His profile says London now so he's a southern softie like you .
But he's not an upside down southerner like the col's and glad
:stir:
If I could have been arsed to read his profile I would have seen that . Anyway I'm not a southerner, I just live here.
Same here I'm from the Midlands originally but in Scotland doing missionary work for the last 30 years .
Emma says I've gone native .
G'day Sir Prancelot. Good that you stopped lurking.....and got your new bike.
Please excuse mjgt, without pictures his reading is not that good.
As for Seth..... You can only say nice things about us down unders now. Laws are being passed making it illegal to be nasty or horrid to each other :upu:
Welcome Sir P !
@Kiwifruit I'd only ever be nice to you buddy .
We don't need rules to say we need to be nice to each other it should the way things are .
It's a sad reflection of the modern world .
:frustrated:

Yesss well, I hope the PC brigade don't get too carried away passing laws etc. Might have to look at exporting myself & mrs to Horstrailer or Tazzie. Tazzie being a different country of course. Actually, I've always wanted to have a look up Cairns way . . .
I have been away from big bikes of about 32years, so I am taking things easy as this old body does not bounce as well as it used to.
Bikes I owned in the past Suzuki Gt250 & X7. Kawasaki Z1b 900 ,GPZ1000RX as you can see its been a while since I owned something on the large size, but in for a penny in for a pound.
So far the 14 keeps putting a smile on my face and it is living up to everything i expected it to be.
:boogie: :P :cheesy:
Welcome Prancelot. Dont be scared of forum, i often write stuff that no one agrees with. 32 yrs no ride, thats a while. Youll be right. Just came home on mine, think some of the baffle has come out of can, sounds lovely. I always appreciate my 14, just a great bike. I often look at it in shed after a ride, just so bloody good. Thats after many years of same.
