Title: Cost of extras
Post by: Stepdoug on Thursday, 28 February 2019, 10:46 PM
Right I need to get this correct. So as I'm now on my 3rd bike are spares and all other parts still £30  and sold for £35.

If you have to explain your purchase to management, every item is 30.00 now thats £, €, ¥ or $ or even free !!
So when taking your new Yoshi cams home it is advised to discard the packaging and present in oily newspaper.
Let us know how you get on.  :onya:

Mrs Del doesnae care what I do as long as she gets her dig money Im free to do what I mostly want she understands I love my bikes and riding them and as I don't drink smoke or go wae durty women then all is good

Also my 3 bikes are all the same colour - which assists a lot with the parts allocation

sorry chaps mine is one in a million

I have five bikes and have no problem buying bits for any of them, my wife rode her own bike for 26 years and knows how much parts cost so it is what it is, if I need bits I just buy them.  Even on a new bike she understands it has to have a pipe, crash bobbins and normally a higher seat, never a problem.

Wife just paid the rego on my 1400.
She knows exactly what I spend and helps me out quite a bit.

She also knows how much the new bike I'm looking at costs and has no issue with me having a 9th bike.  When I looked at H2 SX's she just said if you have the money treat yourself.

She has only ever made 2 comments.
# "It has to go in the shed, don't want the garden and house full of vehicles" (So she bought me a bigger shed)
# Buy it with your own money, don't spent the joint account / house money.

She has no interest in bikes, but knows they keep me entertained and happy.

Thats a perfect set up. I spend on bike/ golf stuff, never an issue. She spends on her stuff, forever my wife has had most perfect fingernails, jewllery etc. All the house needs etc are talked about. All works fine.

I'm very lucky..
Mrs F doesn't mind or ever query or complain about what I spend on bikes or parts/accessories. She just bought me a new carbon Shark Speed-R lid for my birthday next week :boogie:
