Enjoy you're trip
Chris
Had the odd pint before the coffee, which was after dinner, Port shortly thereafter.
Happy Birthday Barmy, a bit late. Hope Col bought you something nice. 😀
Happy Birthday Dave !
Can't get a better present than another trip to the Antipodes eh !
Absolutely - although my birthday came 13 hours earlier than in the U.K. cos of the time difference of course.
Just driven up to Kaikoura this morning through some very heavy rain, and extremely strong winds - not nice outside at this precise minute but starting to clear up from tomorrow (if the forecast is to be believed). Was due to do Whale Watching tomorrow but have put that back until Tuesday morning when sea and weather conditions look to be more favourable. Then onto Marlboro Wine Country and the Omaka Heritage Air Museum where I've booked myself a birthday flight in a 440hp Boeing Stearman Bi-plane - woohoo!
The weather report on the news tonight confirmed that Kaikoura had the most rain in NZ today....... Barmy you really need to check your luggage for a stowaway rainmaker

Hahaha - you know Colin I am beginning to wonder what with 180mm overnight when we were at Franz Josef and then the wet weather today (and it did rain some!) LOL - still, supposed to be full sun again Tuesday onwards so hopefully the stowaway rainmaker has run out of the stuff LOL
Have a great time Dave. What a way to celebrate your birthday. :hat:
Happy Beerday Dave!
