Hi had a 14 (2008) for some 5 years now and been lurking on the site for some time, some great info on here with some clever people, always liked naked bikes since I bought a 1982 GSX 1100 EZ back in 82 ( which by the way had more HP but no where near the torque)the 14 is great to ride and has given not much trouble but for a primary TPS failure am in the process of a few mods/upgrades will post pictures as I complete a few bits and pieces thanks for the help,

Gidday Horse & welcome to the club! Nice to have ya aboard (finally)
So, you're called Horse because you work like one, yeah? No matter, it's 1 more "horsepower" for your bike anyway . . .
Cheers ears!
Horse is relation to my surname and nothing to do with body parts otherwise the nickname would be Shetland pony, yeah loved the EZ wish id kept it am retrofitting the headlight off one onto the 14 to remind me
Welcome :hat:

My big bore GSX1100 outranks my 14 in my bikes priority.
Still slowly collecting a few bits towards its "all Suzuki" 1370 conversion.
:welcome1:
To all things 1402.
It's great to see someone who's benefited from the info here joining in with us all .
I look forward to your input.
Good luck with working on the bike.

Last new bike I ever bought. GSX1100ESD in 1983. Burgundy and black with gold lining. Cracking bike.

Absolutely.
And Horse, we'll like some pictures if you could (of the bikes not the wife, thanks) :salute:
Howdy Sheepdog ,
Mine was the 82 put an MTC big bore kit in it as well as the usual pipes and rejet ( out to 1180 from memory might have been 1150 to much substance abuse has killed the memory) was a solid bike, just finished grafting the EZ headlight onto the 14 today hopefully the 4 pot calipers arrive next week will snap some photos then,
All the best,
Horse

For those hat asked for a photo or two these are those, as you see pretty bog std all the usual mods just finished the calipers and the headlight this week .probably an acquired taste looked strange for a few days but I like it now .put blue DRL leds in it ,cage drivers are a bit perplexed by them I think ,tend to slow down and move over blue and the law seem to go together
Hope this works computers are not my thing , Horse
Very nice. Looks good.
Thanks Grog, going to satin black a few more bits and pieces on the rear end and it will be where I want it,
Have a good week ,
Horse
Is that a 916?
Yep,
First of the bi postos 1995 had it since then still like riding it in small doses but its fairly hard on an old body , hence battlestar galactica gets used more often than not.

I love the 916 BUT they are way bloody small for me. But of course... gorgeous !
A fairly timeless design, I have seen some tall people tuck themselves into one, they are not comfortable for any height but comforts not what it was built for
