Around where you blokes live, what brand of bike the most common. Easy here. I reckon Harley are 70% of bikes. Most common Jap is by far MT09 Yamaha, just heaps of them. Just wondering.
Lots of Harley's, although I'm seeing less new big twins and more Indian build 500cc learner Harley's.
Lots of MT's. O3, 07, 09, and MT10's.
We seam to Have lots of adventure bikes up here in Scotland.
Maybe it's just the tourist thing but lots of BMW and Triumphs on the roads .
When MT09's were launched here they did some fantastic deals to shift them.
Around here nothing in particular stands out but japs do dominate.
It's a bit sad to see Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki outselling Suzuki even when the market went backwards, but it's more of a concern that Suzuki's sales drop was much worse than any of the other Jap companies.

50% of the bikes in my garage are Japanese, 25% are German and 25% are Korean. Only 50% of them are running though. :P
To be unfair to Suzuki they haven't had a very good or large range of bikes for a few years now .
They can't rely on 2-3 models with all the other bikes in there range sharing engines.
The other manufacturers have much more choice of bikes .
Come on Suzuki get your act together.
:frustrated:
I would say Harĺey around here. They are also the loudest, so most noticed ......
Bit of a mixture around my way, used to be mainly Suzuki, but most dealerships have now moved onto Yamaha, Suzuki for some reason seemed to pull their support a few years back. Harleys, Yams, Honda's, Triumph's and BMW the main boys now here
Very local to me it's got to be HD.
But then next door is a custom bike shop with about 8-10 of them in the place at anytime...
Best selling bike in the UK is the BMW 1200GS, and it has been for quite a few years.
I wouldn't be surprised if the big triumph is close behind .

Ye they've not done much in the way of engine development in decades still running v twin's from the late 90's and early 2000's and the same basic multi cylinder motors , nothing wrong with them just getting stale now and means you cant change design much .

For many years the best selling bike in AU was the little Honda CT110.
There's still a lot of them around.
Hard to compete in bike sales against the bike that almost every postman in Australia rides!

BUSA, 11 year old bike based on a 19 year old bike.
GSX-S / The new Kitten, based around a 14 year old GSXR.
The SV, Gladious, DL range is old as the hills.
They dragged the old GS500 out that long it was on The Antiques Roadshow.
Suzuki couldn't be arse'd or couldn't afford to keep its keep its 34 year old legendary GSXR750 complianced.
It's annoys me and makes me a bit sad.
Suzuki used to be a brilliant manufacturer, but they aren't that special anymore.
