My most unreliable bikes, Norton 850 Commando & Honda cr250 Elsinore, both just did my head in. Have in last 3 months found something worse. The great Australian National Broadband Network. Just so bad, drops out at least 50 times per day. Today, finally, they booked a Tech to come here and check it out. Wife stayed home for them, guess what, no one showed, no calls or messages. ADSL with same company last 6 yrs, never a problem. The bill keeps coming from bank account, they wont re imburse until solved. if i cut it off, payments applied because i broke contract. So sick of ringing them, wasting so much time. Over a barrell, i guess i am. :furious: :furious:
Brand new Harley Evo Sportster (I was young and dumb and though a Harley might be cool)
Headlight bulbs blew weekly, big ends failed, heat shields fell off the exhaust, front sprocket nut fell off and the sprocket moved out and stripped all the thread off the spline, etc etc. it had a very long list of issues.
I stuck with it, thinking I would get it sorted.
After 18 months I gave up and sold the piece of shite and bought another GSX1100.
Mercedes Benz cars. The most corroding car on our salted roads. And E-series is the worst of all. Even Russian and East German cars are better!!!
Cars are painted with some water based paint, I think.
It's sad, because technically they are top quality, but that rust...
1976 KTM 420gs enduro rebuilt the engine rode 100 yards blew up :facepalm: rebuilt again blew up on start up :doh: srtipped for 2 years in shed went back to it and found the original problem it was a hair line crack in the barrel , rebuilt with new barrel started and ran sweet took it to its first EVO race on start line dropped clutch gearbox exploded and broke through in to the crank housing F**KED :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:
Haven't got NBN where I am... yet.
ADSL is pretty stable, but mine is very very VERY slow.
A faster connection would certainly make my computer stuff 9eg forum maintenance etc) a much easier task.
On the other hand so many bad NBN stories...
The whole ting certainly is a mega fuckup.
