Title: Frame weight
Post by: seth on Saturday, 05 January 2019, 01:55 AM
Does anyone know the frame weight with everything removed ?

A friend is getting a big tube ally spondon type frame built to replace a written off standard gsx1400 frame .
Just interested on the difference as the written off frame will be cut up so not available to weigh.

There are a couple of bare frames advertised on ebay, maybe someone could provide you with an answer.

now don't laugh too hard there is method in my madness
:P

I have a ZRX 1100 frame here that given the bikes similar layout may not be that far away in comparison weight wise
