Have bet my mate that Mir gets a podium before Miller. He likes Ducati, i trust Suzuki .
Hmm, interesting.
I tend to agree.
So it's away to start who's going to shine and who's not
Looks a great line up and very close in pre season but now it's for real
Also who is going to crash first ?
Motogp kicks off this weekend :boogie:
Gotta say i'm really looking forward to it, especially having BT Sport installed this week.....what a coincidence
Life in the old goat yet
A suprise for them man who doesn't like practice
Rossi fastest in FP1.
:stir:
The Brits aren't anywhere yet in any class.
:frustrated:

Wife paid to have Fox Sport put on as a reward / bribe for my step sons hard work and good results at school and Uni, he was a huge US basket ball fan. He moved out recently, I still have Fox Sport.
Moto3, 2, GP, all the practice, qualifying and races. ..... :onya:

Wow lucky you!
Is it on FTA at all? Even just the GP?
Yeah Mike, it's on channel 10 or 1 at 2.30-4am. :onya:
Swaeaty, correct but 3am qld time, 4am your time.
Fox Sport 506.
Starts 7:30pm Sunday through to 4am Monday !
GP is listed as 2:30am to 4am (AU time) so that's probably a 3am start.
Yeah Tony, Doha 7 hrs behind Qld. Love that world clock app.
Ok, just checked the epg on the tv & it's coverage here in NSW on channel 1 or 12 at 3.30-5am, so that will mean a 4am start :onya:
Well, a great start to the MotoGP season. Good close racing, with no one pulling away & a good result for Suzuki to start the season.
I enjoyed totally, except getting up at 2.30. Suzuki just need a bit more grunt straight line, rest is good. I get mail from Suzuki race team, just sign up for it, they say they have room to improve it. Few months back their update said they had 2 choices, smoothness or top end. They elected smoothness for season start, top speed later. Hope thats all about to happen. Much happier to have Mir over Iannone.
I was cheering on VR, Miller, Crutchlow, and anyone on a Suzuki, so there was enough going on to keep me entertained even without the MM and Dovi Show.
A great race to start the season.
Great start to the season in all classes
I was very impressed by moto2 finally pulling it's socks up with the new engine has brought the class to life.
For all the haters rossi was with the front group the whole race .
I was so chuffed with cal crutchlow.
Loved the close racing from all with lots of overtaking.
Bring on the next 18 races.
I think Rossi was something like 6/10th of a second off Dovi's race time.
Maybe the (relatively) old bloke won't get another championship, hell, he might not even get another win, but he was still quick enough to run with the youngsters today.
Well it didn't fail to impress did it ? :onya:
Shame Casey not there to show them how it's done.
Unfortunately Dovi's win will be decided by committee as some of the teams have complained about his bike. I would think they had a point if he just strumped off into the distance but it was a close race so it didn't give him much of an advantage.
I didn't like the objection as it seams a bit like sour grapes because Ducati have developed the aero on thier bikes(they are owned by Audi who have one of the best wind tunnel facilities in the world) more than everyone else.
I don't think Yamaha objected.
The race was so close I don't thing it even made much difference in the end.
All this objecting is a bit to much F1
Let them race and then others can develop thier bikes .
:frustrated:
Well I'd avoided this thread til now as I've only just watched the race which I'd recorded.
I really enjoyed it! The racing was really close ! I think smallest time difference for the first 15 bikes in history ?!
Very encouraged by the Suzuki's performance for this year, if only they could get a few extra kph on those straights....
And the young fella Mir is already putting the frighteners on Rins...
The Ducati is the nicest looking bike (livery) in the field, with I think the Suzuki 2nd.
I LOVE MotoGP season !!!!!!!!!!
