My fork tubes have corrosion and could do with rechroming.
However I located these on the net
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORK-PIPE-FOR-SUZUKI-GSX1400-2001-2007-Front-Fork-Inner-Tubes-x2-116-/253686420410
Will they be suitable. Seem very cheap for the pair?
This would be cheaper and a lot less hassle than rechroming here in Oz.
Any thoughts or recommendations. too good to be true?
Ask the seller as if they are not for a K5 or later they will not work as will be different .
Go do a search on here and you'll see that forks are 1 of the biggest differences between earlier and later models .
There are 3 completely different internal fork arrangements for parts ,spring lengths, oil leaves and spacers.
Good luck with your search
As Seth posted ... there are differences. You need 51110-42F60 so ask the seller if his are the same. I'm sure he won't know.
I know where there's a black K5 on the Central Coast with good forks. The owner is in Ireland ATM & I know would be happy for you to have them.
Johno, im basic in this buying new forks department. Brand new Genuine Suzuki are $780. My suspension mate, very good, reckons 90% can be re linished. Find a suspension bloke your area my best advice.
I have used these forks.
The difference is the lube hole is higher/lower.
Certainly saves a lot of hassle AND cash.
I used to get them from Poland, but those guys have disappeared.
The last pair I got was from these people or very similar.
Good luck
