Title: Movies on the plane.
Post by: Kiwifruit on Saturday, 15 December 2018, 08:47 AM
Couple of movies that l enjoyed watching while flying. The first one was called "Red Sparrow" and to be honest l watched most of it 3 times. Each time seeing more, before finally seeing the ending. Somestimes just dozing off or the flight ending before the movie

The second "Working Class Boy" the story of Jimmy Barnes. Good solid rocker that man, l enjoy his music and had some wild nights at his concerts when living in Aus nearly 40 birthdays ago. The Aussies will know him well, but may not know his story

Great doco based movie with some of his music in there too. To say it was an interesting tale would be an understatement. Enjoyed it very much.

"Working Class Boy" the story of Jimmy Barnes. Yes, great doco based movie Col. I am a jimmy barnes fan from the Cold Chisel day's, but even if your not a fan, it is a great movie. My mother in Law would not have a clue about him & she loved it as well.

I was doing long hauls to Japan, Taiwan and Brasil for many years, sometimes 3 times a month - the movies got a little repetitious but I do remember Red Sparrow - VG movie. After a 10-14 hour flight I would have to go straight to work so could only do that if flying in Business and the pods - most of the time I could get 5-6 hours sleep. The only way to go! I detest flying now and thankfully backed off a lot of it since 2014. :hat:

I envy people who can sleep on flights, I wish I could.

About to get on an 11-hour economy-class jaunt to LA tomorrow, I will feel like I've done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson when I get off.

In reality Fishy l would not say l slept, more like just could'nt keep my eyes open.
One thing we did do was pay extra to book our seats. There was no way we wanted to sit in a  block of 3 seats trapped in by some giant sloth. We sat in 2 seat aisles on all flights.
