Great footage Gegs. Thanks for sharing :onya:
Really good stuff Gegs. Hes an all time favourite of mine, brilliant on a bike, funny bloke, was great sports commentator when he came to Oz. Made some good tv adds also. Used to know how many bones he broke.
An alround great bloke in my eyes.👍

What a legend :clapping:
Met him a handful of times and he always had time for a chat and could make you feel like you were old mates. A lot of todays sporting icons could use some of his humility. I know he was a lad in is time too, but a true gentleman. :hat:
I was at Mallory Park in 2000 on Wednesday racers practice using my Fireblade (superstock class) , Barry Sheene came past me! He was using a classic in readiness for the summer gp meet.
We must have done 10/12 laps with me passing him on the straights and him flying past me on the inside or outside thru the bends giving me the rear cheeky grin as he went by. What fun I was buzzing.
I will never forget that afternoon and still have the helmet with the signing on sticker attached, was made better when We were waiting in the pit lane for a session and he ignored the queue noticing me and nodding at me as he went past.
What a guy !
Just found this old gem from a 1970s children's TV show:
