I love the Two Ronnies and Dave Allen was in a class of his own. I often quote Dave Allens sign off. "May YOUR GOD go with you"
Britain had some wonderful comedians in that era. Another couple of favourites of mine would be Les Dawson, and Benny Hill. Wonder how the feminists would like the scantily clad fair breasted wenches that used to run around in some of those skits ? Les Dawson playing Cosmo Smallpiece just cracks me up.
I'm a big fan of T2R as well just didn't recall that sketch offhand.
As for Dave Allen - yep used to watch him, umm, religiously.
