I'll be trying to add a forum header banner image.

Which of the following is your favourite?

I like 1, but i dont like the colour of the background... can we change it?

Only issue with colour is it needs to not clash with any of the others in that image.  DId you have thoughts as to what colour you'd prefer on that one?

The blueish/grey powdery bruey/grey of the forum headings maybe??

Why not put out a request from all members to suggest ideas, then those of us who are up for it can try & create them, & it can be bashed around until we are all happy with it.

Also, if admin can give an actual size so it can be designed to fit.

I like number 3 well done for creating these though. Assuming these will be available later as stickers for our bikes, I wouldn't want blue and white slow colours would I

I do like this design Lawrie. I can't see the details of the bikes too well (just me) but assume it's K2 - K7.  Very good idea that.
The blue background is better than the yellow / orange one, how about toning the blue down a bit & doing the fade to white process you've done on the yellow / orange one?

I'm no good at this sort of thing, but would like to see how that looked.   Then incorporate the red, black, blue & white in there some how (as in text / shadowing etc)

Awesome, posting to the org from the pub on sat night!  Rest are playing pokies, I don't do that.

I like No.1 as it has a range of 1400 colours.
Perhaps you could update the Banner every couple of years through a member competition. The winners being listed in the Records section for posterity.

Personally I don't like it one little bit, its too large and I think it would have been far better just to have had the logo, without the picture of the 14 in the background) and I loathe shadows on fonts as well  :thumbs_down: :thumbs_down:  :thumbs_down:

PLUS: When you look on a mobile device it just takes over and you can't see anything. I'll see if we can at least get the logo size reduced so at least those looking at it on mobiles can see the forum without it being "all logo"

This is not a logo you could have made up into decals and use either. I can't see anything that goes for it at all.

But that's only my opinion.

I think something like these are far more effective:

this looked good when we boted but not its on the top banner its to big even in landscape mode i can't see it all on my phone

Don't worry yet Froudy. I'll see if I can get display issues sorted then we'll worry about the actual banner....

Update;  The bloke who writes the mod for displaying the banner is going to have a look at the code and see what's possible.  We might be able to make it work so it doesn't display on mobiles, only on large screens (desktop computers).

If we can get that sorted THEN we can look at designs...

was thinking today, my 14 t shirts are multiple. the one most notice and ask questions about is the simplest. a black shirt with gsx1400 written across front. gsx is white, 1400 is red. basic but effective. most know that its a suzuki, if not they ask. maybe an idea for our header. i was also thinking a sticker for car,  i ride a 14 or something similar to that. just my thoughts, good or bad.

Yes I'd like a shirt like that and a car sticker to nice to have them  good idea
