Title: Yoshimura slip on
Post by: barbz on Wednesday, 24 October 2018, 10:14 AM
Hi all,

Can anyone who has a Yoshi slip on (aftermarket not factory) please take a photo of the clamp when installed?

Trying to figure out if I have this installed deep enough in the factory headers or if I need to try a different approach.

Thankyou

A picture of how you have yours mounted currently could be useful so that those of us with other exhausts could compare?

All sorted I think.

The Yoshi connects to the internal pipe whereas the dinged up staintune I removed mounted a inch closer to the front and on a wider part of the headers.

Slight leak to deal with tomorrow but all working

If you have a slight leak, try putting some clear bathroom silicone on the joint before assembly. This then will seal any "leaks", and is dead easy to remove if you want to disassemble - just wipe a cloth around the joint when the pipe is removed and it all just comes off.
