Post by: VladTepes on Monday, 08 October 2018, 03:17 PM
Having seen @Proteous excellent Chesterton Mill video, I thought I'd share this which someone on our Land Rover forum took.

Also with a Mavic pro.

That's impressive.
I think I'll stick with my DSLR..I can't fly a drone and would smash it within seconds of take off :happy1:

A mate took a drone on this years Euro-ride, he'd borrowed it from a work mate with a view to buying, so when we pulled up at a lay-by in Germany overlooking the Moselle river it was his first flight.
I was amazed when he flew away and over some trees, so it was way out of sight, it went back down the road and across a village we'd ridden through and out over the river. Everyone was thinking we'd never see that again...  but he hit the 'home' button and fairly soon it reappeared over the trees, and dropped down to hover over the picnic table we were gathered around.
Very clever tech!
Problem is the file size, which are huge!
