Gidday Milts, welcome along.   BTW, you'd be a very fortunate man if you managed to secure a K1, they were only released in Japan, UK got K2 onward.  & don't go near the K3 on UK E-Bay going for silly money.

Welcome said the one new member to the other. Don't forget to check the new owners topic in the tech part. K2 may have faulty rear schocks. Good luck searching for the right one!

To all things 1402
Have a good look around to get tips on buying the right gsx1400 for you .
A few early models had 2nd gear jumping/slipping issue it shows up under hard acceleration.
There are a few differences between k2,3,4's and k5,6,7,8's
Not really in performance tho.(different parts that only fit those models eg fork internals )
And before anyone else gets in first to say
Blue and white ones are fastest but then again so are all the other colours  :stir: :whistling:
Good luck
Your in the right place

Welcome. I might be the nearest forum member to you. I work in Staines and I live about 8 miles away. Happy to see another 14 in the hood.
