Yesterday was the first anniversary of owning my bike.
I went with a mate on a brilliant ride to Barnard castle to celebrate (any excuse)..
I use a very handy app aimed mainly at walkers but works fine on the bike or in a car.
The app is called "Geo Tracker"..
When I have done a route I e-mail myself the GPX file and then I can share..
My phone is Android but hopefully its available for iPhone.
Had to compress the GPX file as it would not allow me to post it on here cos the file was too large so hopefully it works.
Im thinking some of you in NZ or OZ may find it useful.. Its accurate to 10 metres..
Zoom in on Kirkby Lonsdale (Devils Bridge) where I stopped for a brew and you will see it even shows my walking around looking at bikes !!!
Bloody scary in a way..
"THEY" know exactly where I am..
What if "They" decide to take me out ??
I will just have to burn off the drone on my bike !
I have added a greatly blown up portion of a screenshot to show the detail the app goes to.. Thats my stop and Devils Bridge.
This is the App I use (others are available)..

Happy anniversary buddy you'll be right in to the bike by now .
You live as close to some great roads just like us up here.
