Hi
Does anyone know if Hagon zrx 11/12 rear shocks fit the Gsx.
It's just there's a set on eBay look in pretty good nick, they're not the nitros but have to be better than dysfunctional originals..
Looking to get the original refurbished over Winter.
Cheers for any reply.
I've not heard of anyone fitting ZRX shocks to a gsx1400 .
I do know that Yamaha xjr shocks are a straight fit as those guys fit gsx shocks to thier xjr's.
The xjr shocks are even less quality than the gsx ones .
Good luck it'll be interesting to see if it works out for you.

For my style of riding and the limitations of the frame I find the standard shocks fine on mine (Red spring ones).
Mine arent leaking and seem in very good condition..
I confess to putting the damping softer than what was recommended in the MCN article..
When set up as the suggested the ride was harsh and I got bounced out of the seat !
Stock shocks when working aren't bad for OEM.
3 way adjustable and not badly sprung.
Certainly better than the XJR's fake Ohlins.
I also have no probs with standard shocks. Had them serviced once, still original springs. Not sure of settings without looking but also run them on the weaker side, same reason as you Speedy. Never wallow etc. Pity the Ohlins copies are crap, couldve been a great swapover.
Yep i agree the stock shocks are pretty good and you would have to spend big money on expensive makes to improve on them .

Similar here. I've played around with different size tyres and jack up blocks, but of the two MCN settings I was happier with closer too the softer one at the rear and firmer one at the front.
Thanks for the replies,
Missed out on Hagons on baywatch for 14 but sold for too much in my opinion.
Think I'll just gett the original set refurbished as they are in good nick.
