GSX1400 Owners .org

Can anyone recommend a pattern ignition switch that will actually work.
I've recently bought one and when i switch it on it only powers the tail light and the indicators.........
I shudder to think how much a genuine Suzuki one will be.......

Can't help but I would only buy from a UK place where it comes with a guarantee and you can send it back if it doesn't work.

I did buy it inthe uk.
I've got to say tho.I got a full lock set inc a fuel cap and they are all nice quality. I'm wondering if the switch is for a bandit.

Do they have the same plugs ?
You can swop the lock part and the rest of the switch to give you a new lock but use your electrical parts .

Bought a second hand ignition switch from a '01 sv650....  After i Too bought a complete China lockset for €25. The cheap set did not work, acted like on yours... It did not work.
With the ignition on...only the parking lights worked, on park.. Some of the electrics worked. I could not get it to work as intended by Suzuki.

If it's a K2/3/4, the ignition switch is the same as that fitted to GSX-R 600's - so you may find a good second hand one on eBay.
