Title: Time for a change ?
Post by: Chelsea on Wednesday, 22 August 2018, 04:43 AM
I have a full Akrapovic on the 1400 with Carbon Hex Race can, looks great and sounds great but had it a while so thinking about getting something different
Still want stick with full system, what are thoughts on the Yoshi Cyclone, or any other ideas

To keep the performance with the cams etc you have fitted, I think you only have the choice between a cyclone or the Akra.

Only other option is to keep the Akra headers and change the end can maybe. Someone like pipewerx may make something with a big enough bore, if not then I think Beowulf have been known in the past to do specials if asked (they fit a larger bore pipe to standard cans I think)

From memory, the Akro is a 4 into 2 into 1, and the Cyclone is a 4 into 1. I think the Yoshi is a fraction better top end, the Akro for mid range, I may be wrong.

I have a Cyclone full system, I love the look, the sound and the performance, down side is the oil filter can be a shit to remove, I remove an oil line, some remove a down pipe or the exhaust.

Suggestion, spend the cash you were looking at on petrol!  Take it for a long ride down 1 coast & back up the other.
