Ok I know I have taken liberties with the title, but your here now so you may as well take a look at this rather clever Youtube video.
You may or may not know that I restore / repair stringed instruments for a living (Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass), so this appealed to me.
It was sent via my neighbour..

Reminds me that I forgot (old age?) to "tune"-test the shock springs.

They laugh and mock but it works..
Only usually a semi tone out... BUT OUT !!!
I would have thought a certain German person would appreciate the springs "Tune up" :)
That's a clever vid Speedy, there won't be any 'long straights' on the race track though - he'd run out of bow length!
as for the spring tune up & ½ a tone out? how does this apply to us deaf ole coots? I'm lucky to decipher words without reading lips, let alone hear a ½ tone difference in a spring.
Seen this before it's fantastic .there's also the 2 guys on a scooter with a trombone nearly as good .
:onya:
Lots of strings to ur bow Simon :)
Thats clever....and yes the trombone was good too.
Very good, makes a Suzuki sound highly strung
