Title: GSXR Kat...
Post by: Tony Nitrous on Thursday, 19 July 2018, 05:02 PM
Ive seen the GSX1400 Katana conversions, although they aren't bad, let's be honest, the original Kat was a top end superbike. It was never about being an overweight engine and boasting about having torque not horsepower.

Now, an L5 GSXR1000 Katana is more like it!!

It's a lovely thing alright, but it's not something this rider could do justice - she'd be too much for me, and that's ok too.

I would sell a kidney to have that. Maybe even two.

It doesn't look very comfortable.

Well I won't have long on it anyway, without kidneys.

I dunno?  High rise handle bars, Air Hawk seat, Tank bag, you'd be set wouldn't ya?  Nice wee cruise down the A roads . . .

Suzuki should just build it. Other manufacturers are flogging retro bikes, why not dig up the Katana shape from the back catalogue?
