your 3 best looking motorcycles, ones that just do it for you. so many to choose. 3 is very difficult. my all time fave is 900ss. has been for ever.
Ducati 900SS - absolutely. Always regretting not getting one of those when I was younger, Ducati reliability on the electrics front put me off then. Worth a fortune now.
My second choice would be the Benelli Sei 900.
Third choice would be the Kawasaki Z900 A1
My uncle bought the 900ss Mike Hailwood Replica when they came out.
Still has it in the garage with a fleet of BSA A10s.
CBX 1000 fell in love first time I saw it
GS1000E the one I wanted but never had
R51 the absolute style icon
Ducati 916 .. has to be in red of course!
Honda CBX also red...
Kawasaki Z1.
Lil, neighbour just up the road. Has cbx with 84 ks on clock, its been built into a coffee table. 84, not 84 th. He has 13 ss ducati. Has a green frame 750 ss, offered lots for it. 1996 jap buyer offered 55 g, today, who knows.
well i cant believe its not been said yet !! gsx1400 , ducati916 , triumph speed triple 1050 , but damn i could pick 50 :)
Blue and white gsx1400 k6
Red and black gsx1400 k6
Blue and white gs1000 s
Just need the gs1000s and sorted .

Think he would be my bestest buddie!
For me it would be
RD350LC
Z1300
ZRX1200 DAEG
I had a 350lc 2 pre-powervalve model
it was reversed colours from that mainly being blue .best bike I ever had turned to within an inch of its life (7mpg).
It was stolen from outside me work on a Friday afternoon. I was 18 at the time .
My 3 would probably change day to day, but possibles would be....
A Craig Vetter Hurricane.
The boxy brutal GSX1100ET with the larger square tank.
A Z(Gpz) 750 Turbo.
A Green Z1100R Lawson Rep.
A 6 spoke / black engine model GSX1100SD Katana.
A Z1R-TC (in black and yellow not the ice blue one)
A well put together Harris Magnum.
a very stupid post by me, 3 only. agree it changes everyday and i prob. have hundreds i really like. seemed a good idea.
As many has already said it changes but my first 3 i could think of
Good to see the H2Tug. Back in the day those things were the open production class must have bike. 30 odd would line up at Pukekohe, then at the end of the day would remove their number boards, put the headlight back in and ride home. Same applied to the RD350 except they had odds and evens races because they had so many entries in the up to 350 proddy class.
Too many to list just 3 but as Tony mentioned the Hurricane. Remember seeing one when l was about 15 and thinking how sharp it looked.
I'm happy with these 3
Yeah the H2's were great. A former boss owned one, then he lost interest in riding and sold it. But didn't tell me first, dammit.
And someone mentioned the Benelli Sei. They are great, better I think that the Honda CBX, and the sound.. ah yes !
As Tony says, it's impossible to narrow it down to 3 really, but it's something worth considering at any rate.
A great selection there too Tony.
For me -
First was the iconic green frame Ducati 750SS.

Secondly, released when other fellas had posters of the Lamborghini Diablo on their walls, was the devastatingly gorgeous Ducati 916, which set the style for years to come - not just for a Ducati but a lead that other manufacturers quickly followed.

I hasten to add, though, that it was the proper design which every wanted, not the abortion of a front fairing that was originally forced on the bike by Australian Design Rules pertaining to headlights. Picture, if you dare, a 916 or 748 with a single rectangular headlight. or actually see it here: http://www.omnimoto.it/foto/5265/ducati-916-748-australia/104501
Fortunately the ADRs were subsequently changed and most (if not every) 916 was converted by their owners to the proper fairing.
But as to the MOST beautiful well, that's a toughie. It would probably be a hayabu nah, just kidding :)
Nah actually it's not hard at all, Definitely the MV Agusta F4CC (Senna version)

Sadly the Indian isn't mine.
I do fancy an M20 / M21 though.

That Indian 841 is a bit rare here.
They only ever made just over 1000 of them and that was 75 years ago.
