nice ride to work, roads damp, being careful. pissed off under bike will be dirty, mr clean i am. angels dont care about damp. uphill to traffic lights, turn off to horse race track for locals. i decide to go to front, filter, i usually dont. lh lane , a bike lane. stop at line. no probs. huge 4wd beside me, hes annoyed his 60k crap box will be passed by me. i see the lhf wheel turned at me. big wheel. cant go fwd, red light camera. my plan, dont have one. lights change, off i go veering left, not at all comfy as lots of debris in lh side. he plants it, turbo singing. nothing really happened, my bike just took off, he straightened up, way behind. sort of woke me up real quick. he was aimed at me. my question, if hed knocked me over, what happens next, why did he try that, his response picking me up. could easily have run over me. just unreal someone does that.
There are some dickheads who just don't like to be passed by what they consider an inferior machine. Many years ago my wife filtered past a Range Rover in Aberdeen to get to the lights, when they went green he overtook two cars to try and catch her and overtake even driving on the wrong side of the road at one stage but he just couldn't catch her, what a muppet. If he had of hit you it would be his fault but that's no consolation from a hospital bed.
This was one pricks actions because I overtook him...

I'd send that footage into the police given it has his registration as well. That's utterly disgraceful - and dangerous - driving by him. People like him should be taken off the road.
I did Barmy.
Went up and gave a statement and everything. I then found out that the driver was part of a particularly nasty and violent family. Someone I work with recognised him from video stills I had captured..Although the Police may have gone on and prosecuted I decided I didn't want to go to court to give evidence and give my identity away for fear of reprisals.
One of the brothers had just got out of prison, serving time for GBH etc. I had already moved away from the area and over to Wales, but still had family in the area. It could have made things very bad for them.
I hope the Police did prosecute and put the twat away though.
High quality driving there Froudy.
Police response........We noticed you were speeding Mr Froud
Funnily enough Kiwi, they didn't mention it.
I did have to edit the four clips from the full video though😁
Froudy, hes angry frogwit, has lots of relations in Oz.

Indeed I can understand that, I'd have done the same thing if I found that out. As you say though, hopefully the police did do something.
What a complete tosswank, stealing our bloody oxygen too.
There are far too many people like that on the road, it's just insane.
I really do think people are getting to be worse drivers, despite supposedly stricter driver training.
Whilst not so dramatic, but equally dangerous, I see so many red light runners nowadays. Saw THREE go through very red lights just this morning. (Three intersections too, not three at one). Bastards.

lh lane , a bike lane. stop at line.
Be careful grog when you do filter to the front of traffic - other than looking out for said tossers, it is not legal to use bicycle lanes for motorcycle filtering in QLD. I assumed we could until a nice fella told me otherwise and I re-read the rules (https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/rules/motorcycle). It's usually the grippiest bit of the road at lights too
Thanks Beaker, didnt know that.

It's not legal here either but plenty still do it.
Makes me wish that "sidewinder missiles" should be a factory fitted option.....

I like this option :imrgreen:

I prefer this option personally - mind you I think it needs a bit of work yet - maybe its "development in progress" :whistling:

:rofl3: fun with fireworks.
I can only imagine whata dim view the constabulary would take of that.
No fun at all, that lot.
They probably won't like this one then :happy1:
I just watched "Delta Force" (again) last night...
