Title: Chugging

Can anyone help my k4
I have a engine splutter at slow speed through traffic but on the motorway it's no problem
I have changed the plugs and air filter but still no joy any ideas

Is your tick over at 1100rpm as they are very sensitive if it's set to low.

If that doesn't fix it, also check the free play on the throttle cables (get them as tight as possible without affecting tickover on full lock in each direction) anfpd then check the TPS to make sure it's in spec.

Also run a couple of tankfuls if BP ultimate or Shell Optimax through, the extra detergents in the higher octane fuel will help clean the injectors up

Also check the airbox drain plug (exits at front of swingarm), and maybe check your air filter is not blocked or too dirty

Balance the throttles, that always cures mine when it chugs under 2k ish rpm.

check the vacuum lines and replace if required.
