Hi everyone, I am after some help/advice.
I have a 2005 gsx1400, which I have recently put into a telegraph pole. The bike is ok, other than needing a new front end.
I read the the GSXR1000 k1/2 front ends fit this model, and because I'm inpatient I have some coming. Forks including yokes and wheel.
I can't find anywhere if these will bolt straight on (and get a top yoke conversion to a straight bar) then use my old parts to fill in the blanks. Or if I need a new stem (if that's what it's called) or if I can use my current one on the gsxr.
Long story short,
Will they bolt straight on?
Do I need a new stem or can I transfer my old on?
Does anyone know the best / cheapest way to put straight bars on the gsxr?
Any and all help welcomed
Thank you!
Hello and welcome
To read the forum threads as a lot of info on front ends
I have a bking front forks in billet bike bits thug yokes with custom creations fork extenders as sould all just bolt straight on.
The Bking and gsx1400 share the front wheel and discs so an easier fit.
@Blubber has this set up too
I think there might be a set if forks coming up for sale soon keep an eye on the for sale section.
Lastly it's customary to go to the bar and introduce yourself as a new member of the forum.
Your in the right place as loads of help here .
This thread also may help

I have a complete front end of a b-king in it ( incl wheel, discs, brakes) , lengthened it with a kit from Extreme Creations Australia and used a custom stem (€75) to mate the Bking yokes to the gsx1400 steering head bearings.

hiya seth iv got gen busa forks in my thug yokes but the 6 pot calipers clik summit rotton what size are the top and bottom yokes on the bking im thinking this route . be handy if they where a straight swap i.ll measure mine later off the top of my head i think there 50 top and 54 bottom
Not sure of sizes but think they are the same size I'm not home so can't check when I'm back I will check and post the sizes.
bking forks are same as gen 2 busa ones both have radial calipers.
The guy I got my forks from fitted gen 2 busa forks to his bking as they are more adjustable .
Hopefully this helps
