Would love to have your prices. Here the liter Super is about 2.35 AU$, Diesel 2.00 AU$
They say Australia is the lucky country - & you're fuel prices confirm it! You're paying $1.85 for super & we're paying $2.38. We've not seen fuel under $2.00 / litre for a very long time.
There are still servo's selling at $1.40(ish) around SEQ, $1.80 is very expensive for here.
So what do we need to emigrate then . . . Fecken Government & taxes! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:
This was Wednesday's news forecast...

Funny but I know a lot of Aussies who'd love to emigrate to New Zealand for its hunting opportunities and more sensible gun laws, as well as numerous other reasons.
Oh and our Government has

"What are all these $20 petrol receipts for?"
"........ errrr..... they are for the generator and pumps at work"
"Why are most of them from Sundays?"
"........ errrr..... I'm a busy man! I always get fuel on a Sunday ready for the next weeks work"
"Oh.... that's OK then"
:whistling:
My minimum receipt is $60, 35 in the car 25 in the can. 10 percent back in my pocket.

Did I mention I worked for the ATO ? :whistling:
I don't, which is probably why I didn't mention it. :rofl2:
The price of unleaded has gradually crept up over the last few weeks.
Locally I can get it for £1.21.9 per litre. I saw it yesterday at a motorway service station up north when travelling back home from Harrogate at £1.48.3 :furious:
If it's the same over there as here most of it is tax as if we don't pay enough already :frustrated:
Yep, most of it is tax. But it didn't help that Trump canceled the nuclear agreement with Iran. The troubles in Venezuela don't help either. Raw oil prices have gone up about 14% since the beginning of the year.
We have synthetic oil, what about synthetic petrol? Stuff the oil companies.

We already have it Col, its called Ethanol, and look what that does :stir:
Well, what we need now are engines designed to run on E100.
