Prefer IPA's usually, but could drink this if it wasn't for the price. $11.00 on special, so guess that makes it about £4.50 a bottle. Didn't realise it was 10% either. :cheers:
@Blubber @seth
Hmmm IPA, those are always good.
That's not a bad price I'll keep an eye out for it as I love a nice beer every once in a while .
Hertog Jan is a particular Dutch favourite they do a great range of beers if you see any others try them.
Last year a few friends were at a camping place in the northern part of the Netherlands hertog jan was €1 a bottle was a cheap drunken evening I can tell you but next day no hangover.
:cheers:
Nice find.
Good beer (imo)
I have a couple of them casks stored in a cool, dry place. They get even better over the years.
I think... they dont even have a best before date. (maybe for export)
They have just released a few which they brew in Port or whiskey barrels... Haven't tried them...yet :cheers:
Just checked mine...The oldest is from 2013. They just mention a brew year..no best before.
Bourbon casked is upcoming :smoke:
There is a date on it, but couldn't fathom it. It says 04/10/41. That's a long best before date, 22 - 23 years! :lol:
