Title: Bottom adjuster screw on front fork leg
Post by: Gsxjohn on Friday, 18 May 2018, 06:26 AM
Need some help/advice, I'm stripping down my front forks for powder coating. How does the bottom adjuster screw come out? I've unscrewed it and can see the 'o' ring but it won't come out.

I think there's a pin to pull out, not sure how you'd do that though, as it's pressed in to a blind hole.
Easy enough to fit though !

Well you can't buy adjuster valve separately. Suzuki want £400 for bottom leg and only used ones were £350 + £60 postage.
Nothing for it than make one. Luckily a guy at work is a toolmaker and into bikes. He's drawn it out with dimensions. I'll get a copy and post it for info.

I read that thanks, one of the adjusters on mine has the thread stripped. Short of replacing the whole fork leg making one was the only option.
