Great eye candy :onya:
Well I'm a standard bike kind of guy, but even I like that. Lovely job.
Great job, looks amazing :onya:
Cheers i wanted to retain its look but make changes that only gsx riders would notice it still handles really well and like all these pulls all day long i love these engines the yokes have changed the trail by 2inch rear ward and the swingarm is 3inch further back moving the balance just slightly forward the gen 1 busa forks can coup well enough but it will prob need steering damping coz of the trail change as it can twitch obout on theze beutiful pothole free roads we have in the uk
Wow - looks amazing !! nearly as good looking as a B/W !! :)
If you get a chance, can you post a pic of the new rear shock upper mount. Just curious where that has been moved to.
Center cross member with a strenthing bar to the top cross member linked to center stand also sternthend
Awesome looking bike. Gone to the top of my good lookers. Colour superb and Campbells just suit it. Id rather stock headlight but just my opinion. Truly beautiful.
Very nice I do love the colour it's very slick cool 😎
Beautiful looking bike mate :onya: :clapping:

Really well done.

Very tidy indeed.
Rear
Rear
Front
This is how it looked
Then this with hayabusa gen 1 arm
Which was pretty much lost under there that started the search for an arm that would fill the back out
Really nice 14!! Probably the best looking 14 I have seen!
Cheers mate nice to hear thanks
Absolutely loving your work.
How straight forward was fitting a Gen1 Hayabusa swingarm other than single suspension mounts? Are they the same dimensions?
Hiya mate its pretty stright forward the swingarm barings are the same size so you can use your original swing arm bolt and the busa swing arm is shorter and narrower you need to make or find an 8mm spacer for the right hand side and 2 extra shims for the left hand this will get you ball park for the chain alignment you can use standard busa shock and dog bones bottom rocker and bolts you.ll need to make the top mount and brace it center and top reinforce the center stand mount and your about there if youve got the tools its about a good day or weekend or yeah you need to trash the air box and undertray and keep all the brass fittings to remount the air flow switch re make a battrey box and somwhere to fit the ecu
Hi lloyd if i get a mo i.ll take some better pics of the way the top mount is set and if ya need any more info lets know i.v still got all the busa resr end cheers mate
Gorgeous looking bike!
Love everything you've done there, back end looks amazeballs :smitten:
Cheers mate
@Latty66 , Have you done any mods to engine?
Latty, maybe dumb question but is rear wheel 240x17?
240/40/18 mate
Im in two minds about moding the motor i.v got a mate with a rolling road he keeps moaning on about power commander and set up dumping the original air filter and puttin on x4 ram air,s aint made a massive diffrence to the way it runs . Me mate keeps banging on about gsxr 1000 throttle bodies and a set of cams and the power commander 5 (£1500) ish and it should push 160 to 180 bhp . But im not sure yet i maybe do it as it is i like the way it performs he keeps saying put it on the roller and we.ll see what it pulls now but i know he.s just trying to suck me in haha
Mate great work but I don't like to mess around with something so tried and tested as my GSX1400. :stir: :stir:
Hiya mate
Could not agree more just about every bike i.v owned has been to restored to factory standard you only have to watch (tt 2015 last run over the montain gsx1400 ) on you tube to see how capable these bikes are in standard trim .That said when i bought this bike i wanted to step out of my comfort zone and build something unique to me . A sort of reversal to the norm . Like bikers world wide modding bikes gives that oppertunity to show your individuality . I took the bike up home to show 4 mates i.v known since i was 4 years old all bikers and got 3 positive and 1 negitive. wierdly the negitive guy owns an xjr his comment was you totally f××ked that perfectly good bike . Candor you can only take with good grace . Remember we ride what we love and we love what we ride . I.ll try and add a pic of the gsxr 1100 i did last year which was a total knacker when i bought it cheers latty

Just the arm
That paint is awesome ! That'd look great even on a stock 14 !
