Any ideas from you lot ?
Let's get riding again !!!!!
Hi Paul
I'm always up for a ride, there is a ride planned Bank holiday Sun 6th May from Notts to Mablethorpe if we wanted to tag onto that.
Lots of events coming up as well which makes a good day of it .
Sometimes works better on here to tag onto a bigger event but throw in fish and chips and it's a winner 👍
Cheers for that mate , I been out tonight just about 40 miles then ended up in Matlock
Fish n chip was lovely and a steaming hot cuppa tea
The 14 first run out so got a few teething problems
Headlight too low
Mirrors not tight enough
Left switch gear not quite in right place so an hour more in garage and she all sorted
Frozen through now but worth every min
Was it faster with the tax and private plate? ..and how were ur Campbells? :)
Funny enough er no all that money and it went no better
Cans awesome got loads of interest at Matlock
How you finding your better ? Louder? Look good so that's not a question
Matlock is always good. Are the council arses still charging for bike parking or did that get canned?
Charges at Matlock never came in
If they ever do we stop going no bikes = no Matlock no shops or people to spend
There choice !!!

We had a week there last autumn. Very free - and so it should be. Shops do a roaring trade.
I think the shops put a lot of pressure on em not to charge us we SHOULD only stop for a hour and hitler walks round writing numbers and times you but it's long enough for food tea ice cream n doughnuts ha ha  :boogie:

Hitler is probably looking for un taxed vehicles Lol :smile2:
Glad to hear it didn't happen, I'd lost track of stuff happening down there.
I'm always interested in a ride (but sadly not always free).
Post something up and I'll join you for a mug of tea if I can.
Pete.
FYI don't forget we have forums for rides and meets etc
This is the UK one http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?board=16.0
there also one for Down Under and 'everywhere else'
Just helps keeps rides a bit separate so aussies aren't looking up ride suggestions in the UK etc.
:onya:
Moved to the UK "Ride Out" section (as suggested by Vladtepes) so now in the right place :onya:
if mine is ready, back together, not hanging from rafters and has passed the shake downs and MOT I'm up for a ride out !!
I'm not going to join in on my GTR14, has to be the GSX

Yah. I sure do have a GTR1400. Or my Ballistic Sofa as it's called.
Very nice it is too. Comfy on the old botty and is a fast as fu.... it's quick.
After doing a good few tours on my GSX14 and the last one was Nice France to Cambridge in one go/24 hrs (1000) miles I decided that walking like I'd shat myself was not nice. So bought a GTR.
I'll post a pic or 2 here tomorrow...

Thanks Grog
Its incredible at doing what its designed for - long haul tours. very comfy and if I dare say.. too fast really. or a better description would be far too easy to go far too fast,..
In Germany, fully loaded with 2 weeks luggage, Me and the Wife ion board and full of fuel - 165mph with ease!!
