This is an odd one, the other day when I was taking the bike to get the seat re-shaped & have the gel insert fitted, the left indicators stopped working, they were going at the start of the ride too. The right still worked on the switch, but nothing goes on the hazard switch.
The bike is still at the shop, so I haven't had a chance to go over it, except to see the plugs to the left were connected.
Thinking it may be the flasher relay?? They're LED indicators BTW.
Anyone had something similar happen? (never happened to the black . . .)
Just had a look at the wiring diagrams and it doesn't look like the relay if one side is working: most likely an open circuit somewhere on the right hand indicator circuit or a short circuit through ground.
I can send you a pic of the wiring diagrams?
L.E.D. indicators normally have resistors in the circuit 1 of them might have gone faulty .
Does the other side ones work ?
Can you swop the wires and see if the side not works start working.
To help find the fault .

im thinking the clue is in the hazard switch, just a thought.
Swap the indicators from left to right one at a time so far it's an indicator at fault, you know which one.
It could be a number of things, indicator switch on LH handlebar (I've known them to fail), resistor in th circuit as Seth suggests, faulty indicator, bad earth. Odd though that the hazards don't work I'll admit.
I think with this one it's Change one thing at a time to determine where the fault lies.
Thx for the suggestions guys. I have spare indicators that I can just plug in to check that side. I also have a spare relay I can try. After that, I'll look at the switches themselves.

On the plus side, when I do get the bike back, I'll have a new comfy seat. (hopefully)
