Is this a step too far?
It proclaims added safety but all I see is added distractions !
What do you think ?

I don't even have music in my helmet as it is a distraction. I agree it would be a distraction! not unlike texting!!
No no no in so many ways no
A phone connected helmet with internet access you have got to be joking.
Good thing is it's so expensive nobody will buy it .
:soapbox:
Siri - start the engine
Siri - lift up the side stand
Siri - change up one more gear
Well - what more can one want - I think its a fantastic idea being able to control one's bike by speaking into the crash helmet
NOT

I think it's just another gizmo of the 'future'. No real need for it, but it'll get manufactured & people will buy it, cause it's the latest thing. 'Rich' people will buy it & everyone wants what the rich people have, and that's how demand (and sales) are created.
Me. I'll just stick to what I've got - for the time being anyway.
Who'd of thought 20 years ago we could have radar detectors, GPS units, bluetooth cellphones connected to intercoms in the helmet? The above helmet is just more of the same. It'll happen, for good or bad, it'll happen.
No thanks !! i go on my bike to get away from all this crap !

Spot on, same for me. It's time to tune off from all this rubbish & enjoy yourself. My veiw is, if you can not do without all this technology, then take the bloody car.
More distractions = More danger.
Do the people that invent this stuff actually ride?
Load of not needed crap. My ear plugs improve my singing by a mile, no need for anything else.
Stuff like this scares me
Yes a sat nav is ok and listening to music if it's your thing though I wouldn't.
But being able to interact and even go online mental.
When filtering on the bike or driving on duel carrigeways in a car/van the amount of people I see in their phones is crazy on the bike most of all as they are so engrossed with their phones they don't notice my bike and it's probably the loudest thing they could possibly hear but they just don't notice it.
:soapbox:
I can't believe this crap. It's going to be commonplace in the near future. Just got something in the mail, yep the snail mail, from Louis. Advertising the NUVIZ head-up display for 699 €. Shouldn't be long until that price goes down and effing additional features added. https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel/nuviz-head-up-display/10020220?filter_article_number=10020220&list=52ef6fc134a9c338d35b5730d86df26a (https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel/nuviz-head-up-display/10020220?filter_article_number=10020220&list=52ef6fc134a9c338d35b5730d86df26a)

It's not my thing....... however.
Open, it looks like the helmets they wore in Airwolf!!! Closed it looks like Ant Mans :clapping:
My inner child wants this. just have to rip all the crap out of it
Think about it.
Would you really want other people to hear what you say in your helmet when riding?
I don't think I do.
Then there's my singing....... :rofl2:
There was a helmet a few years ago that had a built-in rear view thing .it was heavy and expensive .
Don't thing they sold very many if any .
:frustrated:
Can it be a "april fools" wind up?

I am told it was very distracting at the best of times, and especially terrible when the sun was at the right angle (or rather, wrong angle I guess) behind you....
