Title: JT Front Cushioned Sprockets
Post by: gsxbarmy on Wednesday, 07 March 2018, 03:40 AM
If you purchase one of the JT Cushioned Front Sprockets (rather than OEM), you might wonder which way around it goes to fit it (as one side has a complete rubber ring, and the other side looks like it is split).

The answer is that it doesn't matter. I spoke with JT sprockets technical department and they advised that that sprocket fits a number of machines, but on the GSX1400, as there is no boss it really does not matter. The technician at JT I spoke with went on to advise that if there was a boss, then the side with the split cushioning would go towards the outside of the machine.
