This is a good idea..More so for off road bikes..

Nah... Think they would end up way to easy in other people's possession.
Just out of curiosity of course... No ill thoughts
I don't see the point the solve a problem that doesn't really exist .

It does with on/off roaders ;)
I thought they would be easily nicked too..But would Joe Average scrote realise that they were removable?? I don't think so
Didn't think of the off road side of it but knowing me I'd take them off and either stand in them or ride over them

Or in my case, fall out of an unzipped jacket pocket :rofl2:
Still not sure why you wouldn't just have fixed indicators on the off-roader.... rather than removable ones...
If you removed them before going off road you could refit them after so they wouldn't get broken while you were actually riding off road.
Still not sure about them anyway.
:whatever:
I would forget where I put them...mrs Notty would have tidied them away ... :)

I'm familiar with that concept myself Notty. I put stuff down & Mrs Kiwi will 'tidy' them away & I'll go looking for things, where I left them, & she'll deny moving stuff. I reckon she just does it automatically & doesn't actually register she's moved things.
 Horror story, one Saturday I came home from a ride, come inside & she proudly says she's been in the shed & 'tidied up' for me!!! Said I had tools & bits everywhere! Arggghhh! :furious: Not a good thing from my perspective. Ment well, but I said best to leave the garage to me & stick to inside. :whatever:
Oh and just another wee thing, she'll look at something, determine it's not useful & biff it out. Without even knowing what it is or what it does. Great aren't they. Now I know why we go grey.
I can relate with most of what you've written above Kiwi...Mrs F however does not gain access to the shed unless specifically invited :happy1:
She doesn't give a sh*t what the state of the shed is like as long as the house is tidy :onya:
shed is out of bounds, she only goes there to drive her car out. tonight home to a box of books to get rid of. some ive had for nearly 50 yrs, her answer, so how long since youve read one. my answer, nearly 50 yrs. guess im taking a box of books to book shop.
Same here.. no access to the shed
Mainly because of this:
everything on the attic needs a mandatory check aka "yearly use check"meaning:
if "we" haven't used it ( or searched for it ) in last year it prone to be recycled.
I have had to guards my camping gear , ski gear, spare routers, spare motorgear with my life to go missing.
for some unknown / weird reason her clutter was already excluded.. stuff she will never use again. like HER wedding dress, shoes, yearbooks, school agenda's from yesteryears, scrapbooks ,
Many years ago my uncle used to ride a BSA RGS and used to spend a lot of time cleaning and maintaining the bike. My mother was going through the kitchen on a bit of a tidy and found a bit of bent steel in the kitchen drawer, thought to herself it's no good and chucked it out. At the weekend my uncle decided to fit his new high lift cam but couldn't find it anywhere, he thought he had left it in the kitchen.
What is it with women and tidying up

We don't have a shed only a double garage, and with my workbench, 'stuff' and bike there's no room for her car so it lives outside in the sun.
So she has no excuse or need to ever go in there.
For some reason she still criticises my "mess" though...
As well all know, it's not a mess, it's a filing system
