Title: Removal and Reassembly of the Swingarm
Post by: gsxbarmy on Monday, 26 February 2018, 08:43 AM
Should you remove your swing arm at any time for greasing etc, please do check the pivot thrust clearance as noted in the diagram (below), as failure to check this upon re-assembly could (possibly) cause a crack in the right hand side of the swing arm pivot (un-confirmed, but just a possibility)

The Suzuki part number for the Cap (Thrust Shim) is 61264-42F00
The thickness of the shim is 1mm.

It's a little hard to identify the part on the (Robinsons) fiche, as explained here http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=2412.msg29208#msg29208 (http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=2412.msg29208#msg29208)
